Frodo/Sam pixel art

Here's a drawing I did of Frodo and Sam getting married. Pixel art can be a bit annoying with how the line quality noticeably distorts if the image is resized or the file type is changed. I don't know why, but when I put the smaller (actual) version of the picture on dreamwidth, the quality distorts noticeably compared to how it looks on Tumblr and it looses detail and sharpness. But I can't figure out why or how to fix it so it will have to do.
