Yeah, the way I'm looking at it, the things i'll read and learn about will be really interesting to me. So maybe if I end up not doing well at the actual writing part of the course it'll still be worth it.
It can be a lot of fun to have a story like that which keeps growing and growing. I'd be enjoying it if not for the fact that I wanna be writing other fics more.
I love Frodo/Sam fics. At end of lord of the rings where Frodo leaves it makes me so sad and fanfiction provides much needed closure for that. But mainly I like stories set before the quest even happened, which is easier on my emotions and is probably what I'd write.
It'd be nice if that turns out to be true. I've never had constructive criticism on my writing before so I kinda have no idea what standard it's at.
